September

Once again I am behind on the blog. Now that we are over half way through October here is September at a glance. Sage started Joy School and dance class. I have been working on a facebook page, blog, pinterest and instagram account for Motherhood in the Major Leagues. We also spent many many days at the park trying to enjoy the last of the warm weather. Taylor has worked a ton of overtime. 55 hours of overtime during a two week period. Harper became an official crawler and gets into everything which keeps us busy as well. We also got new carpets which was a mont process since they originally said we could not get it. They had them cleaned and cleaned again because they were not done right and after the second time decided the carpet was destroyed and probably should have just been replaced to begin with. Anyways, we had several days of wet carpet and of feeling like hoarders as we had to move furniture from room to room to get the new carpet in. It was worth it though! Taylor and I also did the electric run at Thanksgiving point and saw the one and only juan Pablo from the Bachelor. Jeff and Ashley were signed up to do it with us but Ashley got really sick so Michael Karren took her place. I started this post a couple weeks ago and have waited so long to post it I cannot remember where I put the other collages of the month... so here are just a few pictures.

California Part 3

Friday- One of our favorite days. We spent the entire day at the San Diego Zoo. It was so much fun to watch Sage girls excitement. The weather of course was perfect and our tickets included unlimited use of the bus and skyfari so we took advantage of that which helped with all the walking; not to mention Sage loved "flying" on the skyfari and loves the bus. Harper was an angel as always. She honestly did not cry once the entire day we dragged her along. She is such a good sport and just so happy. She would look around and when she was hungry she would hold her bottle and look around while she ate and when she was tired she would close her sweet eyes and take a nap in the stroller. We loved our days at the beach, but next year we will reserve a couple more days for San Diego. We picked up something to eat on the way back to Uncle Timmy's house, which Sage took a bite and was fast asleep. We carried her inside and got her ready for bed without her waking up. She did however wake up around midnight hungry. She ate and went right back to sleep. She seemed to love the giraffes the most, especially the baby giraffe, Penelope. However, if you ask her which was her favorite she will say the tiger and growl.

Saturday- We spent the day with my Uncle Timmy and Aunt and their sweet family celebrating Nathan and Nicholas' birthdays. They are about 11 months apart. Nate just turned two and Nick will be turning one. We went back up to Orange County and stayed with the Sands Saturday night and enjoyed some  late night Sonic shakes.

Sunday- We went to church with the Sands again and then left early to visit Sabina and her little man Marley. My Uncle Danny & Aunt Ivy were also in town so we were also able to see them. Afterwards we went back and hung out with the Sands. We got the kids ready for bed and then hit the road! We were only planning on driving to St. George because the Karrens were nice enough to let us stay in their home there, but we couldn't find the key. We'll blame our stupidity on our exhaustion. We ended up driving the rest of he way home with a couple pit stops to take a few power naps. We got home around 9 am on Monday. We were all exhausted, but it was such a fun trip. We are so blessed with so many good friends and family that are so good to us and who absolutely love & adore our girls.

Camping with the Petersons

We had a blast.
Lucky we found a campsite.
Made tinfoil pizzas and smores with chocolate cookies.
Learned a "traditional" campsong.
Kids enjoyed running around, playing with flashlights, rocks and sticks.
All slept in a giant 10 person tent.
A moose came walking by our campsite.
Ate yummy tinfoil breakfast burritos.
Went on a little walk.
We will make camping with the Petersons a new summer tradition.
When we asked Sage what her favorite part of camping was she responded, "Cole!"

(Thank you Caitlin for all the pictures)
