It's beginning to feel like Fall

In celebration of Fall we went for a drive up to the Provo Canyon with our friends Rodalyn and Nacor. Rodalyn is a member from one of the wards I served in on the mission and now her and her husband or here while he is working on his Masters at BYU. We really enjoy hanging out with them.

It really is beginning to feel like Fall even though we still have our air conditioning on. All the stores are decorated with red, yellow, and orange leaves, you can find a pile of bright orange pumpkins outside the stores and the mornings and evenings are cooling down. We are both really busy with school, but try and find time to enjoy each other and have fun. Last night we just relaxed, laughed and watched Hairspray. Today has been a day of homework for the both of us. We had lunch and made some banana bread somewhere in between homework and more homework. Taylor is now at the BYU game with his dad, which he is soo excited about and I am so happy he gets to go. He loves his cougars! I have the General Relief Society Broadcast this evening that Jeanne is going to meet me so we can go together. Afterwards the boys should be done with the game and we are having them over for dinner, which Taylor and I have both been looking forward to all week.

I just realized that I have not posted much about this pregnancy. We have a separate baby blog, which is why, but a quick update for this blog... we are excited! We went to my fourth appointment the other day and again got to hear the heartbeat and also could hear the baby kicking! My next appointment we will find out whether this is Dawson or Sage growing inside of me!

Taylor sent me to California last week for Labor Day weekend. I left Thursday morning and came home Monday morning. It was the first time Taylor and I had been apart since we have been married. It was really sad, but I am happy I was able to spend time with family and friends. The next time I see all of them I will probably have the baby with me and will not be the same... not bad, but just different. Taylor was also able to spend some time with friends and family. I am glad to be home and he is happy to have me home!

Taylor is working his Sunday for the month, which is always lonely for me. He misses his old shift, but his new morning shift is great! We are enjoying our evenings together, even though they are usually consumed with homework. But not always. We enjoyed our Friday night together by going to dinner and watching the movie The Notebook, which was Taylor's choice. I love that he loves chick flicks! And then yesterday we learned how to change our own oil and changed the oil in both of our cars. Jodie was also nice enough to go with us to Costco. We also enjoyed Stake Conference. It has been a much needed and great weekend.
